Park at the end of 240th St. for best access to this cache. The terrain will be easy till the final 50 feet or so, where you’ll need waders or some other gear to reach the cache. During the winter this will be much easier to access with the frozen water, but please be safe and ensure the ice is completely frozen. A small plastic bottle awaits. There’s really only one spot this one can be hidden, so if you can get there it’ll be easy to locate. Have fun. Hunting is allowed in this area, so please attire yourself appropriately during those times of the year and be aware of your surroundings.
The Cylon Marsh Wildlife Area is over 2500 acres of woodlands, prairie, and wetlands. Nice property to view a variety of wildlife, birds, and waterfowl. Nice place for a hike – bring the snowshoe’s in the winter. Hunting is allowed here in season, so attire yourself appropriately during those seasons. Enjoy!
