Geocache Description:

This cache brings you to the site where St. Bridget’s Church used to reside. The church itself is no longer there (part of the building is now the Stanton township hall next door), but the cemetery for the parish is sill here.

The posted coordinates will bring you to a nice monument in remembrance of St. Bridget’s Church and the people who made up this parish. The dates the church was in existence are engraved at the bottom of the monument.

The Final coordinates are:

N45 11.XXX
W092 26.091

Where:

XXX = Year the parish was established minus 1611

This cache is not on a grave marker or monument of any kind. If services or mourners are in the area, please respect their privacy and return at another time.

Wisconsin cemeteries are closed after dark, and any logs indicating that this cache was found after hours will be deleted. Thanks for understanding. Cache is a bison tube – please BYOP.
