This cache is 2 stages. First stage is the coordinates of where you will rappel into the canyon. For stage two you will need to project a waypoint to the cache. Cache is a full size ammo box.
****To find the cache: at the bottom of the rappel you will likely lose GPS signal. Continue down the canyon at 155 degrees true North for 250 feet. You will see an angled slab of rock on the right hand side of the canyon with some willows on top. Cache is in the willows there at approx. N37'14.139 W113'27.151****
This is a difficult technical canyon. It is listed on the Zion National Park Canyoneering Website , however the canyon is not in Zion NP, it is in the Silver Reef area near Leeds UT. The canyon is only rated 3AI by the ACA (American Canyon Association), but between the 4 of us that descended this canyon, we found the chimney style down climbs to be the most difficult part. Please refer to the website above when planning your trip. It gives very detailed information on how to descend and exit the canyon safely. When you find the cache, your adventure has just begun. The continued descent of the canyon and exit is the most difficult part. I have rated this cache a 5/5 to insure people do not take this adventure lightly. Please view the photos on the website and we will be adding photos to the cache page as well.

Good Luck and Be Safe.
