Regarding the coordinates, your GPS receiver will have a difficult time in this valley with huge redwood trees all around. I have been to this location many times and taken new readings often and compared to the posted coords. The posted coords are a good average. However, on any given day your device could be up to 70' off. My Garmin GPSMAP64 typically shows the accuracy is 35'. The inaccuracy will be greater if you are using a cell phone.
