Mystery Island Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Heartland Cacher: Greetings from Geocaching.com I'm Heartland Cacher, one of the volunteer reviewers for new caches submitted to Geocaching.com.

It has been a while since I first looked at this cache. I can't find any recent responses from the Cache Owner about maintaining this cache soon so it will be archived and removed from the active cache listings.

When you have repaired this cache, drop me a line and I can review it again for listing on the geocaching.com site. Caches archived three months or more may need to be resubmitted as a new cache.

If you don't care to continue on with this project, please remove any remaining cache bits from the area.

Thanks for your understanding,
Heartland Cacher

Geocache Description:

Getting there is most of the fun!

This cache is accessible from the Ada Hayden park but is a hidden treasure. You won't notice this area if you stay on the trail. However, getting to the area may present some logistical challenges (depending on the season). The name of the cache says it all.

We discovered this area on a kayaking adventure in the park. This is a great way to get there but the other option is to wait for winter.

We actually debated the merits of publicizing this site - keep it for geocachers by not making yourself too visible.

The cache is a medium sized brown tupperware container filled with some trinkets.
