We use this spot to exchange the kids with their grand parents when they go for a visit. It is about half way between College Station and Lindale. We have been coming here for years and have seen other families doing the same.
This is a camoed water tight pill tube. It hangs in a Prunus caroliniana. If you crush the leaves of this plant and smell it you will understand the origin of its common name.
At the right time of year you can pick up the fruit of the state tree (Carya illinoinensis). They are small but tasty.
Log only and bring your own pen. Easy park and grab.
