MUDBUGS IN THE PINEY WOODS
MiataCacheHunter and the
DRGNHNTRS invite you to come out and pinch some tails and suck some
heads while meeting your fellow cachers in the piney woods of East
Texas. We are having a crawfish boil with all the trimmings. BYOB.
This event is being held at MiataCacheHunter’s (Wayne &
Marie) house which is located at the coordinates listed above.
It’s on 15 wooded acres in Cleveland, Texas. Come and join us
Saturday April 24, 2010. We will start serving at 2pm and will
continue till they are gone. We will also have some hot dogs and
hamburgers for those of you who don’t eat crawfish.
And to help make a
day of it for you there will be a bunch of new caches released in
the area and hopefully published the morning of the event. We even
have a new series planed called “The Mudbug Run” which
should help you log some numbers. And just think you don’t
have to worry about the DRGNHNTRS getting the lion’s share of
FTF’s at this event! Sorry Jenna.
If you have never
been to an event they are a great way to meet other cachers in the
area. It’s nice to put a face with those names you see on the
log sheets. Come out and swap stories and tips. Also you can
trade/discover/swap TB’s, Geocoins, and Pathtags. Plus for
attending the event and logging it on geocaching.com you get a cool
event icon on your profile. We will have door prizes so you could
win some cool caching stuff too.
If you plan on
attending you need to “Log Your Visit” and click on
“Will Attend”. Please let us know how many plan on
eating mudbugs so we can try to have enough for everyone. You may
want to bring chairs. We will be doing this rain or shine. Hope to
