Geocache Description:

Access to this cache is off Finnegan Lane the other side of the bridge is private property. Or you could park downtown and go for a short walk. The cache site offers some good views of Angels Creek. Changed to a micro due to it being muggled so much!!

Angels Foot Bridge was constructed in the 1890's to provide access to Angels Grammer School for children living south of Angels Creek. The bridge was washed out in the flood of 1909 and was rebuilt in 1916. After the grammer school joined with Altaville Grammer School as Mark Twain Union Elementary in 1950, the bridge was no longer needed, when it was condemned in 1966, a community campaign was organized to save it. When it needed to be restored again, Ruby Parlor #46, native daughters of the Golden West donated the money to rebuild it in 1995.

CONGRATULATIONS TO HUSKYJACK ON FIRST TO FIND!!!
