Jffok: Hate to see this one go after 11 years but they have dozed the old feed store foundation away. Also all the trees in the area. I think this may be the future home of a new cell tower that is suppose to go in this year.

Thanks to all who came to Visit. This spot use to be the Old Avery Feed Store many years ago .

Geocache Description:

Many years ago there was a feed store located here. This is the loading dock where you backed up to get your feed. If you drove a regular size truck, then two vehicles could get side by side at the dock. All the feed was loaded by hand.

This business also sold fresh vegetables that were raised by the local people that had bumper crops. The feed store was owned and operated by Joe Avery.

This is not a hard cache to find. It is just a place to stop for a minute and add another smiley to your map.

There is a FTF dollar for the one that claims this cache first.
