A small brown plastic tub awaits at the GZ
London Loop Section 1 Number 12 will be the twelfth cache of a series following Section 1 of the London Loop. The London Loop almost completely encircles Greater London, covering a total distance of around 240km (150ml). Section1 of the London Loop goes from Erith Riverside to Old Bexley. More information on the London Loop, including maps and route description, can be found at walklondon.org.uk.
This cache will be Number 12 in the series. However the series will be slowly published during Spring 2010 and not in numerical order. Those seeking first to finds will probably not want to wait for the whole series to be published for the complete 8.5 mile walk.
The cache can be found on a short section of the Cray Riverway.
The cache is not at the published coordinates. However, at the published coordinates look at the two "signs" related to the "path".
Cache can be found at:
N51.27.abc
E000.11.def
Where abc = 222 + byway number on metal sign
Where def = 712 + byway number on metal sign
Please ensure cache is hidden when replaced.
When the cache was deployed it contained:
Notebook and pencil
A number of small swaps
