Aluminum Can Alley Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

kleetus: I went looking for on Friday. I couldn't find it. Who would want an old tupperware attached to a brick? They weren't cleaning up because I saw a couple of cans that were old. I must have missed them on one of my clean ups. This was just a cache thief.

Geocache Description:

Old tupperware. With an anchor.

The cache name comes from all the cans I saw here. You won't see them anymore because I picked them all up. The area will probably be a bit wet in the summer. That will make it more fun. It will also make the cache float away. So I plan to return with an anchor just in case. There is no camouflage attached to the cache and it is bright yellow. That probably won't make it any easier to find because there is an abundance of natural camouflage.

The grass from the main trail to here is cut right now but it will probably be much taller before too long. That might increase the terrain rating some.

I took the coordinates and left for an appointment. I returned and got to within 5 feet of the cache. That sounds great but there's a lot of places to look in 5 feet. The tree cover is very heavy.

Spring is here and so are the mosquitoes. Alligator mating season is just around the corner. Snakes are sunning themselves. Enjoy this little teenie tiny bit of Florida wild in the middle of the not so wild. At least as far as critters are concerned.
