Depending on approach, steep and rocky incline or two and then a nice and easy ridgeline service road. Lots of loose river stones covering steep sections of the road.
Come see this mysterious rough-graded area that shows up on Google Earth. No sign of construction or habitation. Oddly enough there's a nearby twin to this feature and both seem related to a nearby and much larger blob that shows up on Google Earth as well.
Three related barren spots along a remote ridgeline that overlooks Lakeside ... perhaps caused by a close encounter of the redneck kind. That's quite plausible because there's a lot of people that keep coming back up onto the ridgeline trails in this area, again and again for some odd reason.
They come time and ag'in wearing and carrying a collection of strange electronic devices and then they wander around in circles turning stones over. They pick up all sorts of trash and stare at it, once in a while baring their teeth in a silly grin and writing thangs down on little scraps of paper. Must be some kinda cult thang goin' on up here on account of these dirt-blobs.
