Back to Basics - The Magnetic One Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Pharisee: Absolutely correct. I visited the cache site yesterday and that area has had some considerable 'remodelling'. The cache was nowhere to be found. I'll put out a replacement when I find a suitable location.

Geocache Description:

A simple, straightforward traditional cache like the ones we used to place before folks got obsessed with puzzle caches, power trails and 35mm film pots in ivy covered trees.

The fifth of what will become a short series of caches placed along a walk that I regularly take to one of my favourite local country pubs, the Lilley Arms (good food and excellent beer, by the way). They will not all be placed at the same time, nor will they be placed in any logical order. This one is a 1.3lt magnetic (yes, really) 'Clip-Lock' box with some trading stuff in. No puzzles, no clues to find and definitely no 35mm film pots. Enjoy! This one is in an exposed location and there may be traffic and/or pedestrians around so please be discrete and have a look around you before diving in to retrieve it.

It will be muddy... very muddy in some places, after any rain so be prepared to get your boots dirty. If it's been dry for any length of time then you MAY be OK with a rugged baby buggy. The terrain undulates a little but nowhere could it be called 'really steep'. The full circular walk is about 5 1/2 miles but there are a couple of places to park so it could be split up if that distance is too much for you. I'm not going to give you a hint... just look at the cache name.
