Carlson Cache (CA) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

U_Dac: I regret that I must archive this cache, but thank to everyone who stopped by to play. Muggles seem to be watching/using this hiding spot and hiding another container wouldn't last. Will return if I can find another suitable spot or after muggles loose interest in the original location. Keep on cachin'!

Paul Carlson (March 31, 1928 - November 24, 1964) was a medical missionary of a church that served in Wasolo, now the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He was falsely accused of being an American spy and was killed by insurgents during a rescue attempt by American and Belgian troops. Carlson was born in Culver City, California. The park and neighborhood of Carlson Park are named in honor of him.

The following link will give you more information about Dr. Carlson.
The following link will give you a little information about Carlson Park.

This park is open from dusk to dawn, so night caching is not recommended. Street parking is free and this area is served by Culver City Bus Lines 3, 5 & 7.

If you have time for a picnic, I recommend the sandwiches at Jackson Market.
