Geocache Description:

This one is an easy find with only a short walk across a maintained yard. There is a small parking lot on the west side of the school.

Briles Schoolhouse is one of the best preserved one-room school houses in Franklin County. Built in 1868 and closed In 1960, the school is now a community center. Through the efforts of the Full O' Pep 4-H, the State Highway Dept. paid to have the school moved in lieu of paying for the right-of-way when the road was widened in 1980.
You will be looking for a small camoed lock n lock container. It contains a log, pencil, and a few small trade items.

I noticed that a pretty serious electric fence has been installed on the neighboring property. Is is well away from anywhere you will need to be and as long as you are on the school side of the tree line and their fence there is no danger... just be aware of it.
