Forgive me Father, for I have studied... Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Hemlock: This cache has been brought to my attention via a "needs archived" log. This cache has been missing for over 6 months, which should be more than enough time to check on it and replace it if needed. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don't think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache.

When/if this cache is replaced, please email me at hemlock@geocachingadmin.com and I'll be more than happy to take a look at your cache again. If it is still is within the guidelines for cache placement and posting, it will then be unarchived.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thanks for your understanding,
Hemlock

Geocache Description:

Higher Education? ;~)

Central Coast Geocachers of CaliforniaVery easy to get to, in fact you can practically walk right up to the cache! Cachers should be careful where you park. Also, be careful once at the cache site, there is no need to put yourself in danger at any time. :~)

On a clear day you can look out and see the Channel Islands. The actual area next to the cache used to serve a unique purpose, but you'll have to get there to see it for yourself and guess as to it's purpose.

Please note that the cache should be very well hidden, if not invisible to the average passerby. This area is very heavily travelled, so please try to be discrete when seeking it so as not to attract attention. When you're done with the cache, make sure that you hide it better than you found it! This is essential to it's survival. Also important to note is that the cache is large for a micro-cache but too small for most items. Container is a flat 1 quart Pyrex glass box.

Enjoy!

The cache is safe for children, but they should be supervised because the area can be dangerous (especially so when muddy). Mountain bikes are allowed and possibly suggested depending on where you park. Dogs are allowed, but keep them on a leash if you want them to come with you (please make sure to have dogs on a leash and to clean up after them when they leave little nuggets of love). Cache is night-time accessible! 3D Differential (WAAS) EPE was 13 feet with a Garmin GPS V. ICG waypoint ID G-NX-108.
