The Vitruvian Rivalry

Although virtually unknown compared to his famous brother, Monty Da Vinci was an accomplished artist in his own right. He produced, among other works, the critically acclaimed but somewhat obscure Vitruvian Monty shown here. Many believe that this piece actually preceded and inspired Leonardo's more popular but less "edgy" Vitruvian Man, featured in The Da Vinci Code.

Recently, in stunning irony, Monty's drawing itself has become the centerpiece of a mysterious chain of events that is eerily similar to the storyline of The Da Vinci Code—with yet another sinister secret society (the Nonilluminati, or the "not-so-bright-ones") ruthlessly chasing a trail of clues in pursuit of the Holy Grail.

Recent surveillance suggests that a major clue may be located at the given coordinates, and if understood and handled correctly, could lead the finder directly to the Grail itself.

So far, the Nonilluminati have not been able to correctly interpret the clue (actually, they haven't even gotten to it yet—when last sighted, their recon team was frantically waiting for a stop sign to turn green). But if you choose to pursue this clue, do so with the greatest caution—for they are out there, watching, and their ruthlessness exceeds even their incompetence.

This is a puzzle-within-a-multi, intended to be more fun than hard. At the given coordinates you will find a device containing the location of the final. Opening the device may prove to be a challenge, but with patience you will surely succeed.

Located in Ruth B. Swann park. Walking distance is over a mile one-way. This cache is a part of the Cache-INGO! (GC24MZC) challenge (and M's favorite one of all!), but it can be found and logged independently.

**WARNING**: If by some incredible stroke of luck you do happen to actually find the Holy Grail, DO NOT attempt to take it with you! Everybody knows that removing the Grail from its hiding place will trigger all sorts of really nasty booby-traps (you know, boulders rolling down to crush you, poison arrows from every direction, bottomless pits, irritable guardians with big swords), and we would prefer that you don't die at GZ and make a mess for us to clean up. Plus there's the inconvenience of having to reset all the booby traps. Thanks for understanding.

And TAKE A COPY OF THIS PAGE with you on the search. You WILL need it!!
