This cache is hidden in an abandoned cemetary where an old
Catholic church once stood north west of Alma, Ontario. I know
little about the cemetery but will add details to this page as I
uncover them.
This is a nice quiet area with some old headstones, mostly
dating between 1830 and 1880. You can still see the few remains of
the old church from the bricks scattered under the grass. Enjoy the
area while you're visiting.
PARKING
The best bet for parking is at the waypoint included with this
cache. This location is right beside the cemetery along the side of
the road. This shouldn't be a problem during the spring/summer/fall
seasons as a car can easily fit on the shoulder. I don't know yet
what it'll be like in the winter. If you have any problems with
parking, you can park temporarily at the end of the laneway
of the property immediately opposite of the cemetery with the
property owners permission. They know of the cache and are friendly
towards respectful cachers. Do NOT park in the
laneway/driveway of any other private property in the area. If this
doesn't make sense and you're in doubt of where to park, shoot me
an email via my profile and I'll clarify.
