Geocache Description:

The Robbers Roost golf course hasn't been in operation for many years. Cache is found in an open area with lots of bamboo growing on either side. You DO NOT need to go into the woods to find it.

It has come to my attention that many were approaching this cache from a different direction than intended, please refer to the new parking way point for proper heading.

This is my first cache, and as far as I know, it's also the first one to be placed in the old Robbers Roost golf course area. Please note that due to constant construction in the area, the satellite images may show buildings that no longer exist, so you can't rely on them for landmarks. The cache is a short walk from the parking lot that's just off highway 17. Follow the cart path until you see an opening with woods and bamboo on either side. The cache is hidden in this open area. Please sign the log book and trade items, I made sure to start it off with some interesting trinkets. Be the first to find it, and you may just snag a mega man action figure!

*** CONGRATS TO lizandbob FOR FTF! ***

* Special mention to fellow geocachers JunkingNgeorgia and Redneck Red (entry 10/31/11). I am honored that this cache was able to be a part of such a memorable experience for you and your brother. I am truly sorry for your loss, and may he rest in peace.
