Geocache Description:

First in a series of caches forming a walk from the site of Kentwell Hall to the area of the original Kentwell spring. This cache is located near the main gate, next to the public footpath. From here you can see an excellent view of the hall itself. It is well worth visiting (www.kentwellhall.co.uk), but all the walk caches are accessible without doing so.

The cache is a small container with a log and suitable for small items. Stealth might be required due to the busy nature of the area. Whilst waiting, you can admire the hall which was first constructed about 500 years ago and is the venue for many historical recreations. Access to parking in the main avenue will be dependent on events at the hall. Sometimes parking near the cache will be possible, but at other times the church car park might be more suitable.
