Approach this cache quietly and you might just get to see the local Eagle perched on the tree in the middle of the backwater near the cache.
The Geese,ducks and gulls love this little area especially as the ice melts after a long winter. The Eagle can also been seen from the highway perched on the tree stump.

just sharing an experience I was out strolling along the path checking on the placement of the cache, when i bumped into 3 deer, we did the stare down.. but they just stayed in the trees... they must have been about 6-8ft away. I strolled along at a snail pace, and they did the same just keeping an eye on me..lol (I'd never been that close to deer without them spooking)
