Do your children run ahead while you are still assembling your gear (GPSr, phone, tramping stick, etc)? Have they already rifled the cache before you have even determined whether you have satellite coverage? They do? Well this cache is for them.
Study the picture below (labelled Waypoint1) taken from the published coordinates, which shows the location of the first waypoint in this multi. That is, if you were to stand where I stood and had X-ray vision, you would be able to see a small (200ml) snaplock container painted black. In it you will find a picture showing the hiding spot of the next waypoint and the coordinates of the spot where I was standing when I took that one.
Continue in this way, climbing ever higher as you go until you find the fourth waypoint. This will contain the coordinates for the cache and a picture of the final location. Make sure you get these entered before your children disappear over the horizon. (I would have liked to continue in the same way, but the rules of the game do not allow it.) The cache is a 400ml screw top container painted green. It is not visible from any distance, at least it shouldn’t be. Please replace it where you found it, and ensure that it is well hidden. There is an electric fence nearby, but you do not need to get close to it.
When you have finished, continue to the top as the views are spectacular. It is worth going right on to the Memorial and finding the cache there if you have not already done it. There are several other caches in the vicinity but as at least one is a puzzle cache, I will not name any of them.
Note 0: The cache and all the waypoints are at ground level and are in obvious spots. Please replace boxes as you find them. Waypoint 4 has an electric fence in the vicinity and several cachers have been zapped. You do not need to get close.
