What's so special about St. Patricks Day this year? Nothing more than any other year, except that is is the 45th one that I have seen.
45 years ago today, in Ft. Dodge, IA after I was born, there was so much snow, both Dad and the doctor stayed at the hospital overnight (which wasn't done in those days). Roads were closed all over, so no one could go home. Maybe that is why I like the snow, but it did start to get old this year!
