This was originally set up on behalf of the Geocaching Club at UWS but since adopted by me.
This is the site of the old Victorian fire station. A nice catagory b listed building which has, unfortunately, now fallen into decay and is all boarded up. This was Paisley's first purpose built Fire station and opened on 13th April 1899 and was in use until 1973.
The station was scheduled to be demolished when the new station was opened in Canel Street but has managed to survive up to now.
