Lumbering Giant Traditional Cache
Darick: Found that this one was missing. I have replaced it, but the hide has changed a bit as well as the terrain making a new listing the right way to go. Thanks to all who visited the Lumbering Giant over the past 8 years!

The cache is placed in an unusual park in the Mockingbird area about 910 feet from a small parking lot (N 41°12.582, W 096°3.059). The terrain near the cache is very uneven and may be quite overgrown during the warmer months, including the possibility of bothersome plants. In the case of this hide, the shortest path to the cache is probably not the best way. Uneven ground and long dropoffs into a stream would make night caching hazardous and not recommended. The park is closed from 11pm to 5am.
The cache is a screw-top container with room for trades, travel bugs and coins. As with any cache, make sure the container is well sealed and rehide the container well. Use stealth when necessary to conceal the location from muggles.
In addition to the usual log, writing tool, and trinkets, the cache also originally contains a First To Find prize. It is a trackable Micro Compass Rose tag with an activation code so you can activate it and send it out as your own trackable.
