This is a pretty amazing set of reeds that bend over to form a couple of caves and also provide several paths similar to a corn maze (but on a much smaller scale).
I thought about putting a cache in one of the dark reed caves, but I suspect kids go all the way in and would be sure to find a treasure cache, so I have just made it a virtual cache.
I discovered this site while cruising the area parks looking for a good cache spot. There is a large park nearby that would be great for a picnic and a walk along the river, but the trails aren’t anything like in the American River, Sacramento area and are quite limited for cache hunting away from public scrutiny.
