The Bombing of Berrimah

Making headlines throughout the world in the year 2000 was a dummy 100+ kilogram missile that fell off a Royal Australian Air Force jet returning from military manoeuvres (Operation Pitch Black) and onto a parked 4WD in the Darwin suburb of Berrimah.

The wrecked Toyota 4WD, owned by Basil Roe, is still on display outside his work yard on Berrimah Road.

Congratulations to Colonel Dago who was the first to find on 22 March 2010.
