15 - Walk This Way! STXGA Trail Series Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

West Texas Reviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If the owner wishes to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 15 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the West Texas Reviewer.

Geocache Description:

Come out for a walk or a jog! Placed with permission from the San Antonio Medical Foundation, the South Texas Geocaching Association has placed a series of camo'd bison tubes along a walking and jogging trail in the San Antonio Medical Center!

All of these geocaches are placed on the jogging trail. There are 2 parking lots available for parking near geocache 1 and 8. Pets are allowed but must be on a leash. Unfortunately, no biking allowed.

Rules:
1. Stay on the trails! You are not allowed to cut through the trees, or deviate down any non-trail dirt roads!
2. Do not feed the animals, including the rattlesnakes! Yes, I said rattlesnakes! You will not come across any slithering poison devils if you stay on the trail!
3. Daylight hours only. Do not use the jogging/walking trail in the dark. It is considered trespassing if you do. Trespassing is a class B misdemeanor and the police that patrol the area regularly will take you downtown if you trespass.
4. Do not hinder the ability of anyone to use this trail way. Other non-geocachers frequent this beautiful jogging/walking trail, and you should also consider this a muggle warning.

Really though, it is a 2.2 mile long trail, and bringing water is a good idea. It is mostly flat terrain, and stroller safe. The geocache containers are all hidden either right on the trail or with little deviation from the trail. Those geocaches where you actually have to step off the trail more than 30 feet will have a 2.0 terrain.
