With summer ending, A&E have decided it was
time to move me to a more suitable location. During this move, I
may have gathered enough clues to pass along to my rescuers as I
have attempted another escape. Here's what happened to me on moving
day. I was loaded into the car, but keeping their reputation as
evil captors, A&E had me gagged and stuffed in the trunk so I
couldn't yell or see anything. What they didn't know was that my
other senses were on high alert and I was able to hear and
calculate some very important information. Because of my other
escape attempts, I know I was being held in Carson City. Can you
follow their trail?
We started traveling on the main road that goes
through Carson. From the trunk, I was lucky enough to pick up some
of their conversation. The first thing I heard, “Why are they
building new car dealerships in Carson during these tough economic
times?” Less than a minute later, we are stopped. Most
likely, it's a signal light and now I hear a train whistle blowing
nearby. As we continue on straight, one of them asks, “Are
they ever going to finish the remodeling of this casino? This place
originally opened in 1971 and at this rate, it won't re-open until
2071.” At this, they both start laughing, thinking they are
comedians.
As they continued straight, laughter quickly turned
to fear when they spotted a police road block! Apparently, law
enforcement officials were searching all vehicles passing through
the main road in a valiant attempt to rescue me. In their panic,
A&E made a quick right turn onto a side street and stopped! For
several minutes, they stayed parked to come up with a contingency
plan. While we were stopped there, I was positive I detected a
faint smell of raw fish. Then moments later, I hear the sound of a
clock tower striking the top of the hour. Then one of them says,
“Too bad this isn't still the Post Office, we could just ship
him off to his next destination.” You could tell that A&E
were starting to get nervous even though they were trying not to
telegraph their fear. Obviously, fast action was a
necessity.
In the dim light of the trunk, I took advantage of
this delay and found a scrap of paper and pen. Once we started
moving again, I tried to take notes the best I could. I measured
out the distances of our movements but I can't just give them to
you in feet and miles in case the evil A&E see this list. They
would then easily find my new hideout. Because of that, I have
encoded the distances of the vehicle's movements. This should keep
A&E from being able to find me.
From the side street they pulled onto, we moved
forward another 7600 inches, stopped, and turned left. During this
next stretch of road, we traveled 264 fathoms. Half-way through, I
thought I heard the faint ringing sound of a telephone. However,
once we hit 264 fathoms, we made a right turn. At about 16
furlongs, I heard one of them say, "Business Center? Should we
check for an empty warehouse to hide him in? No, just keep going
straight." Then, 3.3 furlongs later, one of them said: “The
Knight of Columbus are into adoptions? I wonder if they would be
interested in adopting our prisoner?” More comedic laughter
as they thought they were safe again. 7½ furlongs after their
latest joke, they turned left, and the final distance driven was
211 rods. Just before the ½ way point of this final stretch, I
heard them count: “1,2,3” and then a couple of seconds
later: “4,5,6,7”. Not sure what that was about, but
maybe it'll help you know that you're in the right area. Soon after
their counting, I could feel that we went over 2 speed bumps. When
A&E reached 211 rods, we turned left into a dirt pullout. It
was a little circular dirt area within the sage and this is where I
attempted my breakout. I popped the trunk, jumped out, and took off
running up the hill away from the evil A&E.
Now that you found the area I took off running
from, all you need is the coordinates to where I'm hidden. For
that, I have included a video clip to assist you. I also have to
thank NevadaWolf and her unknowing assistance when she shared the
link to this cool web site. Therefore, I just had to use it here.
Here's the video clip to find the final coordinates: Final
Clue.
