memories are like rocks. they're solid and hard and will be around forever. but given enough time, even a mighty rock may crumble into fragments, losing all its strength. it's not a matter of forgetting; the rock just can't escape its fate.
this cache has been placed to honor the memories of all those loved ones who have left us too soon. the memories may fade in time, but in their place new life will spring. like a tree growing up out of a rock.
there are (at least) two ways to approach this cache. one is to come up from the fire road behind the homes on idylberry drive near newberry terrace (the trail up starts at N38 01.745 W122 33.570). the other is to follow the trail down from the queenstone fire road (N38 02.100 W122 33.700).
the cache is a small camo'd pb jar. please try to leave the cache hidden in the same manner as it was found (it should be covered). i have found this to be a nice spot to sit for a minute or two, and maybe to remember.
