A small ammo box at the beginning of the trail so that cachers who don't have much time will be able to stop for a quick grab. Can hold small trades.
These caches are along a branch of the North Hudson trail system. My daughter and I did this Let's Go Fishin' series along the trail to the Schroon River fish weir. The weir was put in to allow salmon to go upriver to spawn. It was rebuilt in 1989. Although this was once a road I advise not trying to drive down it as YOU WILL GET STUCK IN THE MUD. The walk is a little less than a mile. Please park in the grassy area at the start of the trail just off Rt. 9. Parking coods are N 43 55.627 W 073 44.371.
