2nd Annual N.U.T.S. Camp Out

This Event is opened to all Geocachers

Friday May 14, 2010 2 pm to Sunday May 16, 2pm?Come all Cachers to the N.U.T.S. Camp Out at the Sacramento River Discovery camp in Red Bluff.
Lunch will be Hot Dogs, to be cooked up and served at Noon on Saturday there will be grills if you want to bring something to cook?There will be A Pot Luck Dinner Saturday at 6:00 pm ( We have hamburgs and Rolls)

There will be a raffle drawings @ 7pm Saturday.

You can camp with us or come at any time and stay as long as you want.
If you need a spot for your RV. There is a campground within walking of the SRDC. See Sycamore camp below for more info

Gate to the Park closes at 10 pm and opens at 6:00 am if you are coming in late contact PatNanz ahead of time so they can let you in.

Camp Discovery
There are 2 covered eating areas; each has preparation tables, 2 large barbecues, electrical outlets, lighting, lockable storage, 5 large picnic tables and drinking water.?Comfort station: 3 showers and 4 sinks on each side, two dish washing sinks, lighting and electrical outlets.?2 vault toilets with lighting.?11 screen cabins with bunks, sleeps 88 total.?Amphitheater with fire ring.?Entire facility is limited to 100 occupants?Trails and pond - fishing from Sacramento River by boat or shore.
Sycamore Campground ( N 40 09.368 W 122 12.099 )
There are 30 sites with tables & grills for barbecuing, 8 people per site. 19 of these sites ( $16 per night) accept Senior and Access passes; 10 expanded sites which include electricity ( $25 per night ) do not accept passes.?One large family site with tables & grills, this site is $30.00 per night, up to 16 people at this site.?Comfort station: pay showers, sinks, and electrical outlets (access code required - see the camp host). Drinking water, vault toilets, and central garbage bins. There are no sewer hook-ups and no dumping stations.
