Cache has been changed to new container a few feet away from previous location. There is no longer room in the container for trade items.
Please note those pesky No Parking signs in the vicinity and be careful to re-hide container as you found it. This is a good opportunity for CITO.
Four lanes come to an abrupt halt in the location of this cache. Pleasanton has seen years of debate over extending Stoneridge Drive through to El Charro Road. Neighboring citizens and environmental groups have been concerned regarding the effects construction would have on a rare plant species, the San Joaquin Spearscale, as well as the California red-legged frog, California tiger salamander, pond turtle and steelhead trout.
The proposed Staples Ranch development includes a 37-acre auto mall, a 45-acre
senior continuing care community, 11 acres of retail, a 17-acre community park, including a 7-acre ice-skating facility and a 5-acre neighborhood park with a water detention basin.
