Geocache Description:

This Tokushige-kumano Shrine is one of Kumano Shrine in the whole country. There seems to have been already it in this place in the Kamakura era from the Heian era (about 1000 years ago).
These outskirts completely become the city area, but we can feel the atmosphere of the old days only in this neighborhood.

There is the main shrine in the place that climbed the long long approach to a shrine and passed through four toriis.
There is a road which can go by car along the approach from the prefectural road, and there is a parking lot for worshipers over there.

The cache is hidden near the main shrine.

この"徳重熊野社"は全国に約3,000ある熊野神社のひとつで、一説には平安から鎌倉時代(約1000年前)にすでにこの場所にあったそうです。
この周辺は、すっかり市街地になってしまっていますが、この神社と鎮守の森だけは、その昔、山の中のこの場所に佇んでいた頃の雰囲気を感じる事が出来ます。

自動車道路から長い長い参道を登り、四つの鳥居をくぐった先に本殿があります。
県道沿いにある参道入口から、参道に沿って自動車道路があり、その先に参拝者用の駐車場があります。

キャッシュは本殿の付近に隠されています。
