Here is "Neko-Jizo".
Jizo is one of the four principal bodhisattvas in East Asian Mahayana Buddhism.
Cat masked Jizo is enshrined here.
This Temple called "Neko-dera(Cat Temple)" is familiar by the episode that one black cat invited "Ota Dokan(samurai warrior-poet)" to this temple, and saved his life in Battle of Ekoda.

ここに珍しい「猫地蔵」が、奉られています。
江古田ヶ原の戦の折に、太田道灌が一匹の黒猫に救われたことから、猫寺という愛称で親しまれています。
猫地蔵は２月節分時にのみ公開となっています。
