The third of Water Slider's series of walks on the footpaths around the villages of north and north east Leeds.
This is a four and a half mile circular walk between the villages of Scholes and Barwick in Elmet on public bridleways and footpaths mostly over farmland.
There are six caches and a bonus, if you do all six, each has information which will allow you to find the bonus cache.
Parking is available on Main Street in Scholes, best place is at N 53° 49.399 W 001° 25.157.
Please note this walk can be very muddy, please wear appropriate footwear.
From number 4 cross the stream and follow the path towards the houses. When you reach the road turn left, continue on the right up the hill. When you see the Gascoigne Arms in front of you turn right, go past the Motte and Bailey then the surgery eventually you come to Carrfield Road turn right along this road. Continue straight along this road and carry on when it becomes a track.
