A small click lock container in a camo bag up a small slope just off the path.
I was out for a walk with Mrs Spursforlife on my birthday and thought this would be a lovely spot for a cache.
The cache is about thirty feet off a footpath near the junction of paths where Frog Combe, Lady’s Combe and Holford Combe meet. It may be approached from several different directions and combined with other caches in the area.
The cache contains a logbook and pen and a FTF prize of £1.
This is a beautiful part of the Quantock Hills and is very popular for families and picnics in the summer. Ideal for children as there are many streams to play in and create lots of dams. After rain the footpaths will be muddy. Tree cover may interfere with your GPS readings but the cacher’s nouse will prevail.
There are many places to park, depending on the chosen approach but there are three main parking areas near Crowcombe Gate and the cache is easily accessible via a lovely walk down Frog Combe from any of these.
Placed with kind permission of Natural England and the Quantock Hills AONB.
Congratulations to Dragonsty for the FTF
