Welcome to Jessie's
Park

Who was Jessie Webster, what did she do to have a
park named for her in Port Angeles?
Jessie was a Lady for getting things done, she was a shaker and
mover. Jessie helped establish the first library in the city and
then didn't stop there she worked towards getting the Carnegie
Library. This library building still stands near the County
Building on Lincoln Street. The brick building of the Carnegie
Library is used today as a museum.
Next Jessie saved this bit of land for a park and had a small
building completed for the Camp Fire Girls on it. Since her day the
Camp Fire building has grown and is still used by Girls and Boys
today.
And for the Icing on the cake, she help establish the Port Angeles
Fine Arts Group and save the land use today for their building on
Laundsen Blvd. Try the cache at that site "A walk in Webster Woods"
GCGWFA. Get it Webster's Woods, great fun.
To find this cache you need to locate the co-ordnance spot, and
then take 36 paces in the direction of the three musketeers tree.
Once you are at the tree look for the hidden treasure.
Well well well,,,, another first for my friend MountainShadow boy
my caches are too easy, lol but congrads for being first and hope
