Celebrate springtime in the park from 9:00am to 3:00pm! We've invited some Boy Scouts who were recently introduced to geocaching and you are welcome to join us too for a family-oriented event.
Please post a "will attend" note if you are coming so we can plan appropriately!
This geocaching event is to provide a local opportunity for some people to learn more about Geocaching, but with spring in the air, it's great to try and get people together in the park!
Coordinates for this event reflect "Shelter 3" at the Algonkian park, reserved from 9:00am to 3:00pm
I've spoken with the Park Ranger, and have permission to put some temporary caches in the park, to help introduce NEW PEOPLE to the geocaching sport, without having them do the traditional caches. These caches will ONLY be alive for the day and will not be registered with geocaching.com, but the park is chock-full of registered caches if you want to go after them too.
The event is a "bring your own food" event - there *is* a grilling area - but if you are planning to attend, please bring something along.
NOTE: if you have any GeoCoins or GeoBugs which are looking to go to Canada, please bring them along!!
