Coastal Caches: Waxham Pill Box Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Captain Bird's Eye: I have approached the Sea Palling and Waxham Parish Council about the state of rubbish accumulating at this site but have had no response. I don't feel inclined to replace the cache given the comments that have been logged. It is such a shame because people seek out these historic structures and the views from this one are stunning. In an area of outstanding natural beauty this should be looked after. What sort advert is this for our beautiful county? Reluctantly I'm archiving it.

Geocache Description:

Having often wondered why there were no caches at the coast between Happisburgh and Caister, I reached the conclusion its because so much of this coast is Nature Reserve or SSSIs so this is my push to rectify the matter. None of this series in on an SSSI or within a designated National Nature Reserve but some are as close as they can get to these beauitiful areas.

This one could be a cache and dash. There is limited informal parking quite close to the hide spot but the road is in a bad state.

A straight forward micro in a small screw top pot containing log sheet only so BYOP. A pen and a paperclip are basic equipment for all geocachers. Play the game. Sign the log or don't log it as found!
