The second of seven in a series that I am working on. It will
not be necessary to complete the series in any particular order.
However, there will be six "preliminary", or "prerequisite"
caches that must be found in order to find the 7th and final cache
in the series.
While you're here, (and at future hides of this series), pay
close attention to the area of the hide! All caches in the
series will be in similar areas. But, it's up to you to
determine the similarities of those locations. (The
"line-of-sight" proximity, the cache container and its immediate
surroundings, nearby parking areas, as well as the "mapped
geographical" location).
The above information will be very important to remember and/or
note, as a part of this information from each cache in the series
will be necessary to find the final cache, which will be a
Mystery/Unknown cache!
The titles of each of the first six caches in the series are
also hints for the final cache!
Most of the hike to GZ is on established trails. However,
the final (approximately) 1/10 mile will be off-trail hiking, and
will include a bit of rock scrambling and climbing, but no
bushwacking is necessary.
Youngsters shouldn't have too much difficulty when accompanied by
an adult in good health
This cache is hidden in typical "Arizona" style. Remember
that this is the Arizona desert! Beware of the plants,
animals, and insects that dominate the land!
I have started the cache with a decent stock of trading items,
and a log sheet. THERE IS NO WRITING
UTENSIL IN THE CACHE CONTAINER!
I don't generally place a writing utensil in my hidden caches!
If the log sheet/book happens to get damp or wet, graphite
from a pencil tends to smear, making signatures illegible.
So, I don't like putting a pencil in the cache. Ink in
pens tends to dry out quickly under the Arizona sun. So, I
hope that cachers will have a pen with them upon arriving at the
caches, to sign the log sheet/book.
Have fun, and happy caching.
