When do they feed the koalas? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

BerkeleyBoomers: Given that construction is continuing and that when complete, this spot will be next to the main entrance to Point Pinole, it's time to retire this cache after a nice long run.

Geocache Description:

Cache is a cookie tin, 2.5 in diam x 6 in high. Not wheelchair accessible

Update 10/25/14: The nearby letterbox seems to have disappeared along with the stump it was hidden in.

I’ve long felt that this corner of Point Pinole Regional Park deserves some caches, so here’s one. This should be an excellent one for kids of all ages as it’s close to the trail and should not be difficult to find.

Original contents include log, pencil, train whistle, praying mantis, tiger finger puppet, stretchy rabbit, lizards, and frogs.

Because it is close to the trail and there are often hikers, bikers, dog walkers, and joggers going by, be sure to use the utmost stealth and return the cache securely so that the next cacher can share your experience.

BONUS: After you have replaced the cache, there is a benchmark a few feet away. Check it out, and you can log it too!
