This cache is located in the Riverwoods Natural Area. Riverwoods is a 21-acre natural area located along the Wolf River in Germantown in Shelby County. Riverwoods is situated in an urban setting but provides refuge for plants and wildlife. It is a small biological island that was formerly part of a larger forested area.
From where the cache is placed you can see where the Wolf River Blvd. extension now connects two previously separate portions of the parkway. This road construction project literally has been in development for over 20 years. Actual construction work started on this section of the road in 2010 and finished in August, 2013.
The cache coordinates are a result of averaging over 850 times using a Garmin 60CSx.
Obey park hours and rules which are posted on signs as you enter the area. The cache is less than 100 ft. off the regular dirt trail. This is a natural habitat area of the state of Tennessee. All features are protected in the habitat. No bikes are allowed. There are no picnic tables. No collection or destruction of any natural feature in the habitat is allowed.
Finding the cache requires no destruction of any habitat feature. Please do not trample the area as you search.

Use stealth and watch carefully for muggles who likely will be quite curious about whatever you are doing. You must sign the log sheet with your individual caching name before you record this cache as a find - otherwise your log entry will be deleted.
