Geocache Description:

THIS WILL HELP!!!! The top of the camouflaged container may be hard to pull off at times. This is a test cache. You do not need to run it over with a vehicle, pitch it to your friend who swings at it with a stick like in baseball, slam it on the ground, rap it against a tree, perform an elbow drop like in wrestling, or any other forceful method to open it. Simply pull and wiggle it at the same time and it should come off. As always, please put the top on so it fits snug and place the cache back where you found it. Otherwise, I know a friend, who knows a friend, who knows someone that can find you!!!

Logs, we love them we hate them. J K L Logs are apparent every where. Logs are used for building houses, signing into events, making fires, put into caches so cachers can leave their mark, build dams (beavers), keeping maintenance records, fence posts, etc, etc. Yes I am talking about two different types of logs here but hey, both are very useful. Geocaching logs can be tricky though. Have you ever been in 20 degree weather and tried to roll up a log from a nano container? It may have taken you 10 minutes to find it but it is going to take another 30 minutes to roll it up due to the lack of feeling in your fingers! Then there are those treasured notepad logs. They are big enough to write about your day but the container was probably not too much of a challenge to find. All right, all right, YES!!! I have missed the ocassional ammo can a few 20 times or so but they are easier to spot!! Correct?? Right smack in the middle is the bison tube category. Small enough to make it a good challenge (unless it is the green bison tube in the evergreen tree trick, which is like kryptonite to me) but big enough to put a decent sized log in there. Well my geocaching friends, this is a large bison tube (if there is a scale) with a good sized log. This cache is located along a trail that was opened up in 2009. It is a nice paved trail that will take you to within 50 feet or so of the cache and then you will have to go down the grassy hill a little bit as well as negotiate a briar or two. From the parking coordinates it will be a .47mile round trip. People are usually on the trail during the day walking, running, or taking the family pet for a walk, so beware of the mugglers. The parking coordinates are N 40° 17.755 W 076° 40.976. You can park here and then walk across the street, using the cross walk at the light, to the path. Its not a bad walk to the cache. Have fun!
