From Rattlesnake Creek the Oregon Trail runs west
of the foothills through private property. Immigrant road is a
narrow dirt road that follows the route of a toll road for freight
traffic heading the Rocky Bar area mines. The original road is
still visible in several places.
The geocache is located on Immigrant Road at an
area with a view of the valley.
