I have booked the $229.00 Picnic shelter, yes, we have a guaranteed home for this event, I will mention that because of this unplanned expense I will not be providing food so it is really important that everyone that can please bring food. Whatever you bring will be appreciated. Please let Planet know what you will be bringing as she is the keeper of the food list. I hate begging, but it was either bring food and hope that we would have a place to eat it, or rent the shelter and beg, I decided it would be better to have a place to eat than wandering around with food. Also I am not to proud to say that I will take cash if you want to give it to me, but this is not a pay to log event. I will update the event cords next time I get to the park and can get new cords. Thank you for your understanding.
Well, I have had a lot of inquiries, there has been a lot of buzz, people have even booked camping in the Crane section of the campground for this and here is the web site.
I know that this event page is crummy, but my HTML skills are not that great and I will do something to fix this up later, but for now I want to say.

August 21, 2010 Around lunch time. Yes I could be a little more vague, there wasn't a time on the event at all. This is one of those details that needs to get hammered out.
GET YOUR CAMPSITES NOW! (Too late, the campground is sold out so beg a friend to stay on their site)
This event is open to everyone, including people of whatever caching ability, people like me that have no personality, and even people that stumbled across this web page and want to know what the heck Geocaching is. Show up, we'll treat ya right.
I will make updates to this page as I figure out how to make it look good.

Mrs. bblhed will be providing pancakes, and Brite Parrot will be providing Coffee, just show your GPSr or caching gear for a cachers breakfast. We are trying to avoid feeding the Muggles so GPS or caching gear will be checked, and yes if you don't have caching gear or a GPSr but have a cacher of your very own (with gear) we will accept that, anyone that takes on the care and feeding of a cacher deserves a little something for that now and then.

If your bringing food to share with others let her know what and about how much, we want everyone fed so please bring food. She needs to pick a title, but she is a bit busy right now.

He has the best map of where the caches and stages of multies are, use but do not abuse him, that's my job. Also needs to pick a better title, remind him of that.
ATTENDEES: I'm not listing all of you people.
These are the people that show up and make this an event and not just me and my family camping out and having lunch at the beach.
MORAL SUPPORT: CT A-Team, All the cachers that said they would show up.

A brief note on terrain rating, I posted this as a 1. If someone shows up and there is an access issue we will move the event to accommodate them, because when I say the event is open to everyone I actually mean everyone. The Rocky Neck web site (visit link) says that it is accessible, I am going to take them at their word on this but the event may be moved to ensure EVERYONE can enjoy the event.
