Geocache Description:

Happy Birthday Geocaching!

Come celebrate the 10 Years of Geocaching with us May 2nd from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm at the Pines Shelter in Hop Brook State Park.

Come early, stay late. Cache all day or hang out with us. Bring a picnic lunch.

Birthday cake and Group photo at 12:00 noon so we can earn the special icon.




Four new caches have been placed for the event!



The 536-acre Hop Brook Lake Recreation Area hosts more than a dozen Geocaches, Letterboxes, a 21-acre recreational lake, over 40 picnic tables and grills, 4 picnic shelters, approximately 25 acres of lawn area and 7-1/2 miles of trails for public use. Three public restrooms are situated throughout the park. Pets are welcome, but must be on a leash under 6 ft in length and picked up after. Dog poop bag dispensers are located throughout the park.
