A
Cryptarithm is a type of mathematical puzzle in which most or all
of the digits in a mathematical expression, such as a sum, are
substituted by letters or other symbols. In a typical puzzle, there
is a one-to-one correspondence between the numbers and the letters
replacing them. That is, the same digit is always represented by
the same letter. The objective of the puzzle is to break the code
used. That is, to replace each letter of the Cryptarithm by a
numeral so that the resulting mathematical expression is true. Use
your long division skills to find the number that each letter
represents. When done place the letters in the appropriate 0 - 9
spot and they will spell a 10-letter word used in Geocaching.
When you have obtained the correct words, make the substitution at
the bottom of the puzzle.
And the answer is: Oops! Sorry, the answer is in UTM (Universal
Transverse Mercator) (WGS84 Datum) Zone 17r. You will have to
convert the UTM back to Degrees and
Minutes.
