moltonman: As I had feared this one has gone missing yet again, it clearly has the eye of local kids or something. Three strikes and you are out I think.

Geocache Description:

Better late than never.

Cache has been muggled a couple of times and Items have been lost - Please do not leave trackables in this cache.

I originally placed this cache around the same time as my wife placed the Bride cache shortly after our wedding. The caches and contents of each were a wedding present from saab99. When I returned to the spot were the cache was placed, although I hunted, I could not find it.

And so it was, although I'd returned a couple of times, until last week when walking the dog I had a quick peek - and there it was in exactly the spot I'd left it. The prodigal cache - probably hidden by the summer's rampant growth.

Funnily enough the FTF for this cache reported that the log had been signed a month before they found it. It turned out that the cache had been dislodged from its hiding place. They must then have re-hidden it allowing me to find it when I was walking the dog.
The upshot was a find over a month before the cache was published and FTF'd - Is this a record? :)

The cache is placed on a footpath popular with local dogwalkers, although there are frequently livestock in the first field. The cache is a small lockbox, with log, pencil, some knicknacks and a £1 coin for FTF.
