Geocache Description:

The terrain is a 2 due to the driving to the four small towns you will be visiting. The only one you can know for sure is that is starts in Ada. AT NO POINT WILL THERE BE A CONTAINER TO FIND UNTIL YOU REACH THE FINAL Each Stage in this multi requires you to have the cache page write up with you when you attempt this grueling history hunt (that's what the HH stands for in the title). The final will be between your starting point of Ada and the final city (stage 4).

Cache with confidence - permission granted. Each city in this cache is a stage. There may be more than one location in each city to visit. In this case, it is denoted by an a and b. For example, stage 1 is the Ada stage. There are TWO locations in Ada to find, a and b. Stage 1a: Famous Person’s Final Months At the posted coordinates, there is a plaque that commemorates one of the final lectures of a famous person. Who knew that it would be in little Ada, OH at Ohio Northern University? This final lecture occurred on what date, in the form MM/DD/YYYY = AB/CD/EFGH Stage1b: ALLLL ABOARD!!!!!! N 40 46.232 W 083 49.361 The town of Ada, Ohio grew up due to the railroad here. The rails, part of the Ohio & Indiana railroad was completed in 1854. It became part of the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1869. Due to Ada's rapid growth in the 1880's after the addition of Ohio Northern, the railroad decided to build a station here. It was originally to be a smaller standard depot, like many in other small towns, but they changed their plans. It ended up being a two-story "Stick Style" depot with a telegraph office on the upper floor. It was completed in 1887, and remains one of the few surviving Pennsylvania Railroad depots. It was placed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1998. Near the station is an old caboose easily visible from the coordinates. There is a number on it in the form 4JJJJ9. The Js represent the very repetitive number. Stage 2a: March Madness Anyone? NO COORDINATES. INFO BELOW! Because the sign was moved to the high school, this stage is no longer here. I don't want to take people to the school and look like creepers but I still want to keep this cool piece of history a part of the multi, and I don't want to figure out the new math for later-on stages. Therefore, I am GIVING YOU the necessary information for KLMN on-line. Upper Scioto Valley HS holds the distinction as the first high school in Ohio to win boys' and girls' state basketball championships in the same season. The teams accomplished this feat in 1994 = KLMN. Stage 2b: Claim to Fame N 40 (F-5)C.GG(M-H+C) W 083 (F-5)J.AH(G-1) A fellow by the name of John had a vision in 1860’s…or he was crazy. Regardless, he had the idea to drain this marsh. The number of letters in the name of the marsh is P. Another thing of note for this piece of small town America, the signage says that it was once the center of the national _______trade. The number of letters in the missing word is Q. Stage 3: Ultimate Sacrifice N 40 (L-5)(Q-3).(P/2)(P+1)(P/2) W 083 QA.(Q+K)(Q-K)A We honor those who gave their lives for our freedom with memorials across the USA. This is one small town’s example. ________ (city name) _________ township Veteran’s Memorial. The TOTAL number of missing letters from the two words is R (NOTE: it will be two digits but all the calculations will involve subtracting from R). Stage 4a: Fire Power N 40 (M-5)(P-N).QQ(R-N) W 083 QQ.(R-L)(R-H)M There are a number of things on display here. Take the time to stroll around and explore the entire park. But you need to figure out how many pieces of military history are on display. This is S. Stage 4b: Do the Locomotion with me N 40 (M-5)(P-N).QQ(R-S+B) W 083 QQ.(S/2)MP To get WXYZ, use the last for digits in the following string located at the coordinates. C2----. The omitted digits after C2 are WXYZ respectively. YOU DID IT NOW GO GET THE FINAL LOCATED AT THE FOLLOWING COORDINATES!!!!! N 40 (M-5)Z.Y(Z+1)(Z+1) W 083 QW.JXJ If there are parentheses, it represents one digit, DO NOT multiply ANYTHING. If I don't place another cache before this one gets published, my profile will say I have placed 100 caches...that is not quite true. I would have placed 97 with this cache (I have adopted 3). Trust me, my 100th will be a bear...a POLAR bear Congratulations to Jaxxon for find #400!!! Congratulations to sandtownbuckeyes for find #100!!!
